Demos and working tapes recorded between 2004 and 2006 while working towards Sink Like A Symphony. Mostly unreleased before now, though a few of these versions made it onto tour only CD-Rs or other ephemera of the time. The majority of these songs were recorded on cassette four-track or one-track at my house on Stadium Blvd, but "Wingspan," and "Human Hands Made The Highways" were recorded at various friends' houses, and "Wednesday Night" was part of a live radio broadcast on WCBN 88.3 FM Ann Arbor's Local Music Show.

There was a demo for "I Built A House," but instead of lyrics it only had melodic mumbling as a placeholder, so it was left off. There was no demo for "Ethan," and the album version of "O Sweet Undoing!" was a completely improvised interpolation of the Ben + Bruno song "O Sweet Lung," and had no demo either.
